Information Use

Information you provide is used to respond to your request, to fulfill your order or contact you regarding an order, to send you email alerts, to send you requested documents or to send you newsletters, shortage alerts or other news that may be of interest to you.   We may use the information to provide you with materials about WCC or our medications and services, including new content or services at our Web-site.   We may provide you with these materials by phone, mail, facsimile or e-mail.
We will disclose your personal information if, in good faith, we are required by law to do so, including but not limited to disclosure to law enforcement or other government officials in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement or other activity that is illegal or may expose us to legal liability, providing said agencies also agree to and abide by HIPPA regulations in their use of all data.
Passive tracking mechanisms such as cookies and log files are used by WCC to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement through our Web site and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.   Persistent cookies enable us to track and target the aggregate interests of users to enhance the experience on the site.   We do not share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose any information that we collect in any form that is not HIPPA compliant.

Security

WCC takes reasonable technical and procedural precautions to protect the information provided by users of our Web site.   When online registration and order forms require users to provide certain information, such as financial date, that information is collected on a “secure” page and the information submitted is encrypted.

The information contained on this site is intended for use as an informational aid.   It does not cover all possible uses, actions, precautions, side effects, or interactions of the preparations shown, nor is the information intended as medical advice or diagnosis for individual health problems or for making an evaluation as the risks and benefits of using a particular preparation.   You should consult your healthcare professional or veterinarian about diagnosis and treatment of any health problems.   Information and statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), nor has the FDA approved the preparations to diagnose, cure or prevent disease.   Wheeler’s Custom Compounding preparations are intended for use in food and food-producing animals.
Medications compounded by Wheeler’s Custom Compounding are prepared at the direction of a physician or veterinarian.   Many compounded preparations are commonly prescribed and supported by literature, to treat particular species and disease states but you should always consult your physician or veterinarian before taking or administering any compounded medication.   Wheeler’s Custom Compounding does not make claims for the efficacy of our compounding preparations.
